Munnar는 케 랄라의 Idukki 지역에 위치하고 있습니다. 널리 알려진 남인도의 카슈미르는 해발 1,600m의 고도에 있으며 세계에서 가장 훌륭하고 아름다운 차 정원이있는 것으로 유명합니다.  Munnar는 1870 년대 당시 Travancore 왕국의 영국 거주자 인 John Daniel Munro의 방문 이후 외부 세계에 알려지게되었습니다. Munro는 Munnar의 땅 대부분이 차 재배에 이상적이라고 언급했습니다. 곧 다른 많은 유럽인들이 이 지역에 차 농장을 세우기 시작했습니다.

오늘날 Munnar는 인기있는 신혼 여행 및 연중 여행지이며 오늘 홈페이지 이미지에서 볼 수 있듯이 차 농장과 Western Ghats의 산으로 카펫이 깔린 우뚝 솟은 언덕과 동의어입니다.  울창한 계곡, 이국적인 동식물, 경치 좋은 마을 및 많은 폭포의 모든 아름다움을 제공하는 Munnar는 상쾌한 차를 마시 며 휴식을 취하고 자연 속에서 양질의 시간을 보내도록 유혹합니다.

Munnar, India

Munnar is located in the Idukki region of Kerala. The Kashmir of South India, as it is popularly known, lies at an elevation of 1,600 metres above sea level and is famed for having some of the best and most beautiful tea gardens in the world. Munnar became known to the outside world in the 1870s after a visit from John Daniel Munro, a British Resident of the then Travancore kingdom. Munro noted that much of Munnar’s land was ideal for the cultivation of tea. Soon many other Europeans began establishing tea plantations in the area.

Today Munnar is a popular honeymoon and year-round travel destination and is synonymous with towering hills carpeted with tea plantations and the mountains of the Western Ghats – as seen in our homepage image today.  Offering all the beauty of lush valleys, exotic species of flora and fauna, scenic towns and many waterfalls, Munnar entices you to take a break and spend quality time in nature – all while sipping a refreshing tea.
